£100,000 British Council Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning Funding in 2019

British Council Connecting Classrooms opens for applications to developing countries to build teachers’ skills and pupils’ understanding of global issues.
British Council offers grants to schools for visits from the UK to developing countries to build teachers’ skills and pupils’ understanding of global issues in 2019.

Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning supports schools to link around the world on global curriculum projects through partnerships. The programme offers an interactive online platform for collaboration, grants for teachers to visit their partner schools and professional development for teachers and school leaders.
Grants are awarded on a competitive basis, with schools needing to demonstrate a strong commitment to their partner schools, to embedding global learning in their curriculum and have a teacher committed to professional development in this area.
