Description
  • Work closely with the Board in implementing the Group’s strategies in line with the business objectives agreed with the Parent Bank.
  • Drive the achievement of the Bank’s financial targets within FBNBank Guinea.
  • Formulate and implement the Bank’s various business strategies; and propel the Bank’s products and services to the top of the market.
  • Build the organizational structures and business teams capable of delivering distinctive performance.
  • Manage overall business relationship to maximize revenue income and profitability.
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Establish an agenda of top issues and opportunities to improve Consumer and Commercial Banking services in the Bank’s performance and growth.
  • Facilitate and present periodic business performance review reports to the Board; and participate in Management Committee meetings and other related businesses as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
  • A good first degree or equivalent in any related field.  Higher degrees/Professional Certification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant banking experience with, at least, four (4) years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent experience of client relationship management and dealing with HNIs and mid to large sized corporate entities
  • Excellent knowledge of various business segments covering retail, corporate, commercial, public sector and corporate banking
  • Ability to handle big ticket transactions; and excellent credit analysis & appraisal skills
  • Sound knowledge of local operating environment and business transaction dynamics
  • Good understanding of the relevant regulations e.g. national budget, foreign exchange and monetary policy guidelines
  • Strong financial modeling, quantitative and analytic skills
  • Proficiency in French or working knowledge of French language will be a distinct advantage.

Description
  • Reporting to the Project Manager and Head, Corporate Transformation, the ideal candidate will have the responsibility for directly overseeing designated work streams or project resources, under the supervision of the Project Manager and managing significant project work streams or tasks assigned by the project manager.
Specific responsibilities amongst others include:
  • Develop work plans and manage multiple project work streams to support the implementation of strategic objectives, within budget and agreed timelines
  • Develop a Communication Plan to disseminate information to all stakeholders throughout the Project life cycle for assigned work streams
  • Analyze data to provide meaningful information for decision-making
  • Provide solutions, improvements and take corrective action on challenges that may arise

Qualifications
Eligible candidate must possess:

  • Possession of higher degree(s) and/or relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, will be a distinct advantage.
  • Must have worked in the Bank for a minimum of 1 year as a non-core staff.
  • Track record of excellent performance and achievement.
  • Sound moral and ethical conduct with no disciplinary records.
  • Evidence of mandatory NYSC scheme or Exemption Certificate.
